Military source: The Strait of Hormuz remains blocked

A military source, in an interview with Fars, said: As long as the hostile actions by the United States continue, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will not change, and no permission will be issued for the passage of vessels through this strategic passage.

Full control of the Strait of Hormuz is in the hands of Iran’s armed forces; any decision regarding reopening or continuing the restrictions on this passage is made solely based on security considerations and national interests, and as long as the threats and hostile actions by the United States continue, no change will be made to this situation.

Responsibility for any disruption to maritime security and the consequences resulting from it lies with the parties that have put regional security at risk through military actions and tension-inducing policies.
