Media affiliated with the Islamic Republic reported the deaths of four people following the collapse of a wall in Mashhad. According to this report, the collapse of a wall at the site of an excavation for a construction project in the industrial town of Tors led to the deaths of 4 workers and the injury of 5 others.

The deputy of operations of the Mashhad Fire Department said that during debris removal and search operations, five workers were successfully pulled out from under the rubble and transferred to medical centers. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
