🔶 Khamenei’s political adviser: Until we bring down Trump and Netanyahu, we won’t open the Strait of Hormuz
Mohammad-Baqer Zulqadr, a political adviser to Mojtaba Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Republic, spoke about the continuation of Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz, praising the “200 days” of street gatherings by supporters of the Islamic Republic during the war with Israel and the United States.
According to the information website of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, he said in a message that the Islamic Republic’s military forces will not open the Strait of Hormuz until “bringing down” Donald Trump, the president of the United States, and Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel.
This comes while Trump’s statements indicate the successful nature of Iran’s maritime blockade and that Iran’s forces have the upper hand in keeping the Strait of Hormuz open.
Trump also, in his latest remarks, said there is a possibility of ending the war with Iran before or perhaps after his country’s midterm elections in November this year.
He, stressing that Iran will never obtain nuclear weapons, called the outcome of this war “really good.”
