Ismail Kowsari, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament, praised the night-time gatherings of supporters of the government in city squares, saying that despite economic problems, “people come to the square more upbeat every night.”
He said: “We ourselves feel ashamed before the people; after all, there is high prices and inflation, but people come to the square more upbeat every night and announce their presence physically and in numbers. This presence has disappointed the enemy.”
