In a statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed that in the second phase of the “tit-for-tat” operation, it targeted and stopped the second “suspicious” vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

The IRGC also claimed that the U.S. Air Base al-Udeid in Qatar was targeted with ballistic missiles and that the command center and the center for maintenance and repair of the fighters at this base were “smashed.”

The statement said the attacks were carried out in response to the continued attacks by the U.S. Army on the coastal bases of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic.
