The Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces said that, in the twenty-first phase of an operation known as “Sa’qaqa,” they targeted with a drone a munitions and logistics equipment store belonging to a U.S. Army command center at Al-Dawhah barracks in western Kuwait.
The army’s public relations office described the attack as a response to U.S. military moves and claimed that Al-Dawhah is one of the main support bases for U.S. forces in the region.
The veracity of this claim has not been independently verified, and the United States and Kuwait have not yet responded.
