🔸 Giorgia Meloni, on 13 Shahrivar, by surpassing the record of 1,412 consecutive days in power, became Italy’s most long-serving prime minister since World War II.
🔸 Meloni, who has been prime minister since October 2022, has delivered unprecedented political stability in a country that has experienced 68 governments since World War II.
🔸 Restoring confidence in Italy’s financial situation and reducing the number of incoming migrants from 157,000 in 2023 to 66,000 last year are among the main achievements of her government.
🔸 However, reforms to the administrative system, healthcare, and education have made little progress, and the government’s plans to reform government structures have also failed to yield results.
🔸 The failure of judicial reforms in the referendum, Meloni’s deteriorating relations with Donald Trump’s administration in the United States, and a decline in the popularity of her allies have made the outlook for the 2027 election more difficult for Italy’s ruling coalition.
