France’s representative at the UN Security Council meeting on Yemen urged the Islamic Republic to end the arming of the Houthis, the violation of the group’s arms embargo, and, more broadly, its policy of destabilizing the region and disrupting freedom of navigation.

Expressing solidarity with the legitimate government of Yemen and Saudi Arabia, the French representative urged the Houthis to immediately stop all their military activities in the region.
