Washington imposed an unlawful and savage war on our region and disrupted the normal flow of shipping. Oil tankers have stopped, trade has been disrupted, and energy prices have risen sharply. Now Washington is struggling to portray Iran as the cause of this disruption and insecurity—which America itself has brought about—and to force the entire world to pay the exorbitant costs of its unlawful actions… This distortion is utterly meaningless and baseless!»
