🔶 Azmoun in the “New Registry List” of the National Team

The sports information website "" reported in an exclusive report on Wednesday, 18 Mehr (9 September) about the return of Sardar Azmoun to the Iranian national football team.

According to this report, Azmoun’s name has been placed again after months of absence in the “new national team registry list,” and he will once again be able to take part in national training camps.

So far, Azmoun has scored 57 goals in 91 international matches and is the third-best all-time goalscorer in the history of the Iranian national team. It also wrote that the return of this experienced striker can increase the options for the coaching staff in the forward line.

After the publication of an image of his meeting with the ruler of Dubai, amid tensions between Iran and the United Arab Arab Emirates, Sardar Azmoun was dropped from the national team and could not take part in the FIFA World Cup in the United States. The Football Federation of Iran has not, to date, announced the official reason for this decision.

At the time, the public prosecutor’s office of Golestan Province had announced the seizure of the national player’s assets.
