The Association of Families of Victims of the Ukrainian plane crash, on the fourth anniversary of the killing of Mahsa Zhina Amini, wrote on Instagram: “The Woman, Life, Freedom movement is a movement that has turned freedom, equality, and justice into an inseparable part of the public discourse of Iranian society, and despite suppression, arrests, and threats, it continues.”

Part of this statement reads: “The families of the victims of the Ukrainian plane crash consider themselves part of the network of Iran’s families seeking accountability; a network that extends from the Eastern provinces and Aban 98 to Flight PS 752 and the Woman, Life, Freedom movement, and calls for the truth, justice, and accountability of those responsible and those who ordered the crime.”
