The annual dinner of the White House Correspondents Association (WHCD), after a three-month delay due to an attack in April, was held on Friday evening at the Waldorf Astoria Washington hotel with about 700 guests.

The event was attended by Donald Trump, President of the United States, and a number of his top cabinet members, including Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of Defense, Kash Patel, the head of the FBI, and Caroline Leavitt, the White House spokesperson, although Melania Trump, the First Lady, was not present.
