Al Jazeera, citing its correspondent stationed in Yemen, reported that forces supporting the Yemeni government have repelled the attacks of the Houthi rebels in the strategic heights of “Khub” near Bab al-Mandeb.

The news agency said that military tensions between the Houthi rebels and forces supporting the government remain ongoing on several fronts.
