Al Arabiya, citing informed sources, reported that, at the proposal of Pakistan, Qatar, and other regional mediators for a 10-day ceasefire, the resumption of negotiations, the cessation of military hostilities, and the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, Iran and the United States have responded positively.

Shahram Khaldi, a researcher in Middle Eastern history and international relations, said that, considering the positions of the Islamic Republic, the remarks of the IRGC spokesman, as well as statements by U.S. officials, it appears that both sides are seeking an opportunity to regroup.
