According to a document received by Iran International, as the economic crisis intensifies in Iran, the state-run Sepah Bank, by issuing a directive addressed to different units, has warned corporate employees that they should pursue their outstanding claims and labor-related protests only through legal channels.
In this directive, issued on 18 Shahrivar 1405, it states that corporate employees working at the bank (including personnel of companies affiliated with the services group for the employees of Pahnovin and the Takhte Jamshid Alborz guards) must refrain from any conduct or behavior outside administrative norms when pursuing their rights and benefits.
The General Directorate of Employees’ Affairs of Sepah Bank emphasized that failing to observe the chain of command and professional etiquette in matters related to financial claims and employment rights will be met with action by the company’s disciplinary bodies and a decision regarding individuals’ employment status. The directive was issued while many corporate employees of state banks have been protesting their living conditions and unpaid salary and labor claims.
