🔻While the United States continues its airstrikes against Iran for the twelfth consecutive night, Marko Rubio, the country’s foreign minister, has said that Donald Trump will be “head against eye” in this standoff.

He said that Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s foreign minister, spoke about their policies a few days ago and said that Iran’s policy in this standoff is “eye for eye”... but the policy of the U.S. president is “head for eye.”

Rubio also said on Thursday, in remarks to reporters on the sidelines of the ASEAN foreign ministers’ meeting in Manila, that the damage Iran will suffer in this conflict “will grow heavier every night” until Tehran is ready to reach a “peace agreement that it will stick to.”
