— UK police have charged a 39-year-old man with alleged cooperation with Iran’s intelligence service under the UK’s National Security law.

The suspect, Wahid Abbari, from Liverpool, was arrested and remains in custody. Police also carried out searches at addresses in Liverpool and Birmingham.
