U.S. Treasury Secretary urged everyone around the world who has information about Iran’s financial and commercial activities to come forward with disclosures.

Scott Bessent wrote on the X network: “The U.S. Treasury Department has launched an economic exclusion operation aimed at cutting off all vital financial arteries of the Iranian regime and its backers. For this reason, I issued a new call for whistleblowers who have information about facilitators of Iran’s terrorist actions to step forward.”

Addressing “anyone around the world who has information about these ‘rescue lines’” [for the Iranian government], he wrote: “This is your chance. If you have information that can be useful to the U.S. Treasury Department, you may be eligible to receive a reward; regardless of where you live or who pays your reward. If you see anything, report it.”

Mr. Bessent announced on September 2 the U.S. plan to isolate Iran economically, which includes the banking, technology, shipping, and aviation sectors.
