The U.S. Treasury Department added three financial institutions based in Istanbul to its sanctions list on Friday, the 13th of Shahrivar, due to their links to the Islamic Republic.

The Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Treasury Department added “Golden Global Investment Bank,” the company “Golden Global Portfolio Unitimity,” and the company “Golden Global Warlik Kiralama” to the list of specially designated nationals and persons under sanctions.

At the same time, the ministry issued a new general license that allows certain transactions related to individuals and entities that were sanctioned on the 13th of Shahrivar to be carried out for a period of time with the aim of ending these transactions.
