The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said that during ballistic and drone attacks by the Islamic Republic on U.S. forces and its allies in Jordan, two American servicemembers were killed and another servicemember is missing.

In a statement released on Saturday, CENTCOM said the attacks took place on 26 Tir 1405, while U.S. forces and their allies were defending themselves against attacks by the Islamic Republic.

According to the statement, four U.S. servicemembers were also transferred to hospitals in Jordan to receive medical care, but they were discharged after treatment. In addition, several other forces who had sustained minor injuries returned to their duty stations after a medical assessment.
