The truth: On July 14, U.S. forces attacked Iran’s military targets in Bandar Abbas, Khorramshahr, Ahvaz, Qeshm, Tannb, Bushehr, and Kuh-e Steck in order to reduce Iran’s ability to attack commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. At the same time, the Islamic Republic has targeted innocent civilians who are transiting through this strait and neighboring countries in the Persian Gulf.
