The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced through a video posted on the social network X that the U.S. maritime blockade against the Islamic Republic remains in place. According to the command, by Saturday, the 3rd of Mordad, the routes of 12 commercial ships had been changed, two ships had been stopped, and two other ships had been inspected. CENTCOM also added that the tanker “Lavin” was detained after an attempt to violate the blockade in the Sea of Oman.
