Two citizens from Qorveh who had been detained during the protests last December were, in total, sentenced by Islamic Republic courts to six years in prison, four years of exile, and 62 lashes.

According to a report by Kolbar News, Neda Dadehjani and Setayesh (Behnoosh) Sarabi, with sentences issued by Islamic Republic courts, were each sentenced to three years in prison, 31 lashes, and two years of exile to Nikshahr in Sistan and Baluchestan province.

Branch 102 of the Criminal Court of Qorveh sentenced these two citizens, in relation to the charge of “disrupting public peace and order,” to one year in prison, 31 lashes, and two years of exile to Nikshahr for each of them.

Also, Branch One of the Revolutionary Court of Qorveh sentenced Neda Dadehjani and Setayesh Sarabi each to two years in prison on the charge of “assembly and conspiracy to commit a crime against internal security.”

Based on the final verdict, for each of these two citizens, three years in prison, 31 lashes, and two years of exile were considered; however, according to the issued ruling, two years of each person’s prison sentence would be enforceable.
