🔺Trump’s reaction to a Wall Street Journal report: We also spy on China

▪The U.S. president said that China is spying on the United States, just as the United States spies on China.

▪Donald Trump made these remarks in a conversation with reporters aboard the presidential aircraft (Air Force One) after the publication of a Wall Street Journal report.

▪The report said that Chinese entities had provided the Islamic Republic with satellite images before a missile attack on an air base in Jordan in which three American service members were killed.

▪Trump said: “They basically do the same thing we do.” The U.S. president said China “spies on us” and “we spy on them, too.”
