The Ukrainian forces lost nearly 117,000 soldiers and foreign mercenaries in fighting in the special operation zone this summer, almost 10,000 more than in the spring, according to military expert Andrey Marochko.

"The enemy's losses in manpower (killed and wounded) over the summer amounted to approximately 116,815 soldiers and mercenaries. Compared to the spring, this is almost 10,000 more," he said during a live broadcast on his VKontakte page, after analyzing data from the Russian Defense Ministry.
