The U.S. Treasury Department announced that its Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), in the latest round of sanctions, has added 27 Iranian airlines and seven companies associated with the aviation sector to the sanctions list.

The companies Ata, Chabahar, Iran Airtour, Asman, Kish, Karoon, Qeshm, Sepahān, Taban, Zāgros, Varash, and FlyPersia are among the sanctioned companies.
