The Israel Defense Forces said it targeted a squad commander in the “Hamas terrorist organization.”

The operation took place on Sunday, 28 Tir, in southern Gaza Strip, during which “Usama Kamal Shhada Abu Tima” was killed.

The Israel Defense Forces said that he participated in the Oct. 7 attack and played a role in the abduction of “Noirit Kufer,” “Amiram Kufer,” and “Alexander Danzig,” Israeli citizens.

According to the Israel Defense Forces, “Abu Tima” carried out activities, during and after the war, to advance the “terrorist” plans against the army forces and Israeli citizens.

Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet had said that “Adham Ibrahim Shabhan Nusman,” one of the senior operational commanders of Hamas’s Gaza City Brigade, was killed in an attack in the city of Gaza.
