Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf sent a “congratulatory letter” to Khalil al-Hayya, the new head of Hamas’s political bureau:

“Congratulations to you on your appropriate selection for this position—head of the Hamas political bureau.

Iran stands alongside Hamas and all the fighters on the battlefield so that the path of resistance can continue until the liberation of Jerusalem.

The martyrdom of [Hamas’s] leaders—such as [Yasser] and [Mahmoud]—will not weaken the resistance movement; rather, it will signal the start of a new chapter of rage and unwavering determination.
