Shahram Karami, playwright and manager of the Erasbaran Culture House, was removed from his position because a number of female artists attended a memorial ceremony for Bahram Shah Mohammadloo without mandatory hijab.

At the event “Night of Poetry and Music of the Winter Center,” female artists including Ehsar Broomand, a television presenter and actress, as well as Leili Rashidi, a film and theater actress, were in attendance. The ceremony was held on Friday, 6 Shahrivar 1405, at the Erasbaran Culture House in Tehran, with a group of artists present.
