🔸The Secretary-General of the Executives of Construction Party says that China has set conditions for Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf’s trip to this country in order to pursue the 25-year contract.
🔸Hussein Marashi, in an interview with “EghtoIran,” said: “They have told us very clearly that you open the Strait of Hormuz, you do not collect tariffs, you resolve your issues with Saudi Arabia and the United States, and then Qalibaf comes to China.”
🔸Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, the head of Iran’s parliament, was appointed in Ordibehesht, upon a proposal by Masoud Pezeshkian and the approval of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, as “Iran’s special representative in affairs with China.”
🔸Fars News Agency, close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, wrote on Sunday, 27 Ordibehesht, that Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, the head of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and a former member of the IRGC, has been appointed as Iran’s special representative in affairs with China.
🔸The announcement of Qalibaf’s appointment as special representative in affairs with China comes two days after the official visit of the U.S. president to China, during which one of the issues discussed was Iran and the Strait of Hormuz.
