🔺Rubio: If the Islamic Republic is seeking a nuclear weapon, it will pay the price

▪The U.S. secretary of state, while rejecting the country’s return to an agreement with the Islamic Republic, said, “In many ways, that ship has sailed from the port.”

▪Donald Trump, the U.S. president, also told mediators and regional partners last week that he is not interested in returning to the terms of that deal.

▪Marko Rubio, on the Fox News program “Brian Kilmeade,” said that the Islamic Republic has refused to enter into nuclear negotiations, and that the main issue is that the ruling regime in Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon.

▪He said that as long as they continue their efforts to achieve it, or claim that they want such a weapon, they will pay the price.
