❌〰 President Trump told the New York Post that American soldiers who were killed in Iran’s attack on Jordan carried out the “ultimate sacrifice” to prevent Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons, and warned that failure to stop Iran could lead to a broader regional conflict.

Trump called the deaths “shameful,” but said the mission remained necessary.

“ They did it because they don’t want to see Iran have nuclear weapons,” Trump said about the soldiers who were killed. “... and this just shows you how [Iranians] are.”
