Police in Germany announced that a car rammed into the crowd during the annual gay community parade in Berlin on Saturday, the third of Mordad, killing one person.
News agencies reported the number of injured between 16 and 17 people. The police said that some of the injured have injuries that are dangerous and life-threatening.
Meanwhile, the Associated Press, in a report, wrote that Berlin police announced that they had identified a suspect who has not yet been arrested and is linked to extremist Islamists in the German capital. Florian Naath, a police spokesperson, said: “This suspect is known to the police. We recognize him as one of the members of Islamist circles in Berlin, and a search operation to find this individual is being carried out with full force.” He declined to name the suspect.
