The airport consists of only a single airstrip, and is not suitable for large-scale military usage, such as aerial refuelers. It is home to a P-8 Poseidon however and some smaller aviation.

The target of the two impacts that occured in Jordan in the latest wave is still unclear, but it’s most likely a Jordanian Army facility for surveillance & communications.
