Months after the protests of Dey, some of the injured are still undergoing treatment for wounds caused by security forces’ shootings. A 34-year-old protester was targeted with a live round in Qazvin on the evening of Dey 18, and his leg was severely damaged. According to his brother, he has undergone five surgeries so far and is still under treatment. His family says they have followed part of the treatment covertly and at great expense, due to security concerns.
