Members of Tehran City Council approved keeping the metro and buses free for another two months.

The above matter was approved in a session on Tuesday, the 23rd of Tir, and, due to wartime conditions, it was decided that the plan would be reviewed and extended “once every two months” until the Supreme National Security Council officially announces the end of the war.

In that session, disagreements arose, including that some members were opposed and emphasized that discounts should be considered only for part of society’s groups, even up to 100 percent.
