Mehdi Mahdavi-Azad, in the program “Cheshmandaz,” while referring to the role of economic conditions in shaping protests, said that poverty alone is not the cause of protests; rather, it is injustice, economic disparities, lack of a future, and demotivation that lead to protests.

He added that the government in Iran is facing financial inability, internal differences, and the loss of legitimacy at home and abroad.
