Israeli army forces, with information from Shin Bet, detained a Palestinian suspect in Hebron in the West Bank; according to the army, the person was on the verge of carrying out an armed attack against Israeli citizens.

The Israeli army has announced the detainee’s first name as “Abdulrahman” and said that his arrest was carried out during an operation on Saturday, coinciding with the holidays.

The army emphasized that preventive operations across Judea and Samaria to identify and neutralize immediate threats will continue.
