🔻Iran’s secretary of the Supreme National Security Council says the United States has received a clear warning from Iran’s new missiles in recent days.

Major General Mohsen Rezaei, in a message published on X, wrote: “The economic war will be answered with the creation of a maritime exclusion zone across the Persian Gulf up to the area of the blockade.”

Mr. Rezaei said that “the operational posture against ships and U.S. military bases has been subjected to a fundamental review.”

Iranian officials in the past few days have claimed that, using anti-ship weapons, they were able to attack two warships of the United States Navy fleet in the Persian Gulf.

Yesterday, Mr. Rezaei said: “For the first time, we tested an Iranian anti-destroyer missile over an American warship. This particular missile created hell for Americans, and they fled.”

Recently, Majid Ibn al-Ridha, the acting head of Iran’s Ministry of Defense, has also said that the country’s military forces have the ability to target U.S. warships.
