🔸 Iran Reports Attack on “Darakhovin Nuclear Power Plant”
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran announced that the United States targeted a nuclear power plant under construction in Darakhovin, in Khuzestan province.
The organization, in a statement, condemned the attack on this “site under construction” and accused the United States of “bullying” and “violating the law.”
According to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, the attack took place at 3:39 a.m. on Sunday, 28 Tir, using several projectiles against the site under construction of the Darakhovin power plant.
The Islamic Republic called the attack a “terrorist act” and a “violation of international laws,” and accused the United States, saying it was carried out “with the aim of preventing the path of Iran’s progress and independence.”
The statement added: “This unjustifiable action is not only a flagrant violation of international laws and the national sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, but also a direct attack on the achievements of young specialized experts and Iranian scientists, who, relying on indigenous knowledge and domestic capacity, are carrying out a national project.”
