The Houthi military spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Yahya Saree, announced that in response to Saudi Arabia’s airstrikes on Hodeidah and Kamaran Island, they carried out two retaliatory strikes against Saudi Aramco facilities.

The first operation targeted sensitive Aramco sites in Jizan with dozens of ballistic missiles and drones; the second operation targeted facilities in Yanbu with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones. Both attacks were precise and successful.

Yemeni military forces said that Saudi Arabia’s airstrikes on Hodeidah and Kamaran caused material damage, and that air defenses, after the Saudi aircraft violated Yemen’s airspace, engaged them.

The statement emphasized that the Saudi maritime blockade is still ongoing, and that the equation of “blockade in exchange for blockade, escalation in exchange for escalation” will continue.
