Heavy rainfall last night caused flooding and flooding of streets in the northern regions of the country, especially Gilan and Mazandaran. According to reports by the Islamic Republic media, in some areas of Mazandaran more than 220 millimeters of rainfall has been recorded, and so far 772 residential units have been damaged as a result of the flood-like rains.
