Hamshehri newspaper, the media organ of Tehran Municipality, published a list of targets for assassination as tensions between the Islamic Republic and the United States intensified. In this list, names of individuals such as the foreign minister, the war minister, and the commander of U.S. CENTCOM can be seen. The list was published while Donald Trump, the President of the United States, had previously threatened that if Tehran carries out its threat to assassinate him, the United States will respond with a wide-ranging missile attack on Iran.
