⚡ Mehr News Agency, which is linked to the government, reported on Thursday evening, 25 Tir, that parts of Qeshm Island were hit by a missile at 18:10 on Thursday, Iran time. The agency claimed that the missiles were fired by American forces stationed in the region.

Other government-linked news agencies in Iran also repeated the same report and, citing the Hormozgan Provincial Directorate, stated that «a report will be completed after initial assessments» and will be announced later. So far, the U.S. Central Command or other American institutions have not responded to this claim.
