The German TV channel ARD reported that the suspect of an attack on the LGBTQ+ groups parade in Berlin was shot and killed during a police operation.

Earlier, the German chancellor, in response to the attack, said: “These attacks only want to separate us from one another; we must not be intimidated. Despite all political differences, we will defend our freedoms.”

Germany’s interior minister also said: “All evidence indicates that we are dealing with a radical Islamist terrorist attack.”
