Fatemeh Moghajerani, spokesperson for the Pezeshkian government, said the government is ناگزیر (inescapably) to implement new strategies to manage gasoline consumption, and that changing the price or the way gasoline rationing is done is certain.

Moghajerani, speaking to reporters, said the country needs to reform the consumption pattern and create balance in this area due to the supply of gasoline at subsidized prices. She added that how these reforms will be implemented, including through changing the price or rationing, is still under review, and after being finalized, they will be announced to the people with transparency before they are implemented.

The government spokesperson also said that any decision in this regard will be officially announced to the public.
