Farzin Nademi, a senior researcher on defense and security affairs, told Iran International about the extension of the deployment of U.S. forces in the region until 2027. He said that keeping some 50,000 American personnel, aircraft carrier navies, warships, and radar and missile systems shows that the Pentagon is preparing to continue its military presence in the region.
