Chuck Schumer, the Democratic minority leader in the U.S. Senate, wrote on the social network X that Donald Trump “has dragged us into an endless war; a war that has caused skyrocketing prices at home and, at the same time, has put our military forces at risk abroad.”

He emphasized: “We must end this war immediately.”
