The Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs Authority announced that non-military air navigation equipment related to the “Bahrain Flight Information Region” was targeted in an attack by the Islamic Republic.

Bahraini officials said the attack had no impact on the air navigation operations process, and that the services related to the control and guidance of flights continued without disruption.

The Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs Authority added that the responsible entities immediately after the incident took the necessary actions in accordance with the operational and security procedures approved to address the situation and ensure the continued provision of air navigation services.

A short while earlier, the Bahraini Armed Forces’ General Command announced that this country’s air defense systems intercepted and destroyed a number of air attacks launched by the Islamic Republic on Monday, 29 Tir.
