According to a police spokesperson, the suspect had previously been known to security forces and has a record in Berlin as one of the members of “Islamist currents.” Police emphasized that a special operation to track down and arrest him is currently underway. In the incident that occurred on Saturday night, at least one person was killed and 16 others were injured, with some of their conditions reported as critical.
